The carrier’s complete contractual terms, tariffs, valuation provisions, bill of lading, estimate, and service documents govern each move. The following summary is provided for website reference and does not replace signed move documents.

Property and carrier responsibility

Responsibility for loss, damage, or delay is subject to applicable law, tariffs, valuation selections, exclusions, packing arrangements, and the terms contained in the customer’s service documents.

Packing, fragile items, and specialty property

Fragile, unusual, high-value, mechanical, electronic, artistic, or antique items may require inspection, professional packing, custom protection, or a separate written agreement. Customers should identify these items before service begins.

Charges and delivery

Transportation, packing, storage, and other lawful charges are due as stated in the estimate and service agreement. Delivery and release of property may be subject to payment and applicable tariff requirements.

Restricted materials

Explosives and dangerous goods are not accepted for shipment. Customers must disclose items requiring special handling or prohibited transportation.

Claims

Claims must follow the timing, documentation, notice, and filing requirements in the applicable contract, bill of lading, tariff, and law.
